Cheque Bounce Notice
The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 is applicable for the cases of dishonour of cheque which says, When a cheque is dishonoured due to insufficient funds and banks issues a “Cheque return Memo” to the banker of the payee mentioning the reason for non-payment and the payee re-submits the same cheque within 3 months of the date on it and still it is dishonoured, then the payee may sue the defaulter. And that’s when you send a cheque bounce notice.
